Joshua J. Ettner
As the founder of Grayland, Josh brings 15 + years of experience with all aspects of the commercial real estate business including development, underwriting, financing, capital raising, sourcing, acquiring, closing transactions, and asset management in industrial, office, retail, multi-family and self-storage. Prior to founding Grayland, Josh was founder and partner in Kairos Investment Partners, and prior Senior Vice President at Synergy Development. Josh was formerly the Director of Capital Markets at InSite Real Estate in Oak Brook, Illinois, where he led their private equity real estate group and Opportunity Fund Program. Prior to InSite, Josh worked at Prudential Real Estate Investors in Chicago, working in the Asset Management group on a national portfolio totaling over $7 billion of assets.
John W. Howe
John brings extensive experience with all facets of business including operating, financing, capital raising, underwriting, sourcing, and closing transactions in commercial real estate, financial services, CPG, and SAS technology. Prior to Grayland, John was founder and partner of Newpark Capital, a private equity firm focused on CPG – Natural Products. John was formerly founder and President of Eliot Management Group, a national electronic payment processor processing over $2 billion annually.
